I am the king of bad timing. One time I was going to get busy with two nude photo models, but I passed out from all the vodka I had drank. I once took two roofies before a Mike Tyson fight and passed out before the fight ever started. I once showed up at my girlfriends house while she was boning another dude. Yeah, my timing could really be better.
Now I have done it again. Only two months ago, I bought a Novation ReMote SL25 Midi/DAW controller at my local Guitar Center because I was doing so much recording at home it was easier to control my Logic program from the Novation unit. Lately though I have been playing with the band more than recording and a lot of my time and resources are tied up with that. I find myself badly needing yet another guitar. Something I can keep tuned down to a dropped C all the time. Do you know what a pain in the butt it is to tune down from standard to drop C in between songs?
Oh well, I listed the Novation unit on craigslist for trade for a decent guitar and hopefully something will come thru soon. I even offered up my Ibanez Artcore Series if someone has a guitar that exceeds the value of the Novation unit. Knowing my timing, I will really need that Novation after I get rid of it.
